This is exactly how I pictured the word "prayer" to look, individual, unique, and heartfelt. Thank you for this inspiring post. These photographs are incredible. It has lifted my spirits today!

I have a question - Friends and I were at Dinner and saw a couple who seemed to be praying or some other ritual. They looked to be from possibly Tibet or there abouts. They sat across from each other, closed their eyes and held each others noses. We were just curious as to what the custom is.

stumbled on your blog today and glad i did. thanks for this wonderful post. perhaps you will expand the idea of the many ways of praying to even more cultures and spiritual paths ... I believe the more we understand each other and each other's spiritual beliefs, the more likely we are to have peace in our world hopefully soon. thanks for your part in the conversation. :)
