There are several small towns in the country.

75% of Canada's population live in 'towns' of around 1 million people.

Thank you for your interest in Canada. Maybe you should actually come visit Canada to verify many of the facts in this post.

Good effort, though.

Hey Sawse,
Just a Canadian popping in. I had a look around your site and found this article. I think it's great that you've taken an interest in our country and tried to speak well of it. I did have a question though... Did you do any fact checking while writing this article? You made at least 2 statements in this article that are quite absurd.
"this country that has one of the smallest populations in the world" ranked 36 most populated out of more than 190 countries, Canada's 33,170,700 people is hardly one of the smallest populations in the world.
"the Eskimo settlements in and around the frozen shores of the Hudson Bay is also one of the most visited places in the world."
What Inuit, as they much prefer to be called, settlements are you talking about? I would assume you're reffering to Iqualiuit, the capital of the Inuit territory Nunavut but can't quite be sure... But I would love to see any tourism statistics for nunavut at all. Not a very popular tourist destination, though I'm sure it's quite a beautiful place.
It's one thing to say your opinion on something, it's something quite else to just guess and claim it as fact.
Anyways, keep up the great work blogging, I'll be reading the future :D

Peace

Also, many people call me by my surname (lastname) in place of my first name, Chris, and this is quite common practice, even in the great, cold north :P

Thanks for writing such a nice post about Canada!
I'm fortunate enough to live near the Canadian Rockies. I've traveled in many places in the world, lived on 3 continents and... this is home! This is the cleanest and most beautiful spot I've found.
