Best Buy starts selling e-bikes and electric scooters

By Matt Stone September 1, 2021

Best Buy is getting into e-bikes and scooters.

On its website, you'll now find electric bicycles and scooters, as well as mopeds.

Best Buy is stocking a wide selection of brands in its new "Electronic Transportation" division.

These include well-known names such as Bird, Segway, Unagi, Super73 and SWFT.

What's more, come October you'll be able to purchase these new bikes and scooters in-store, at select Best Buy store locations.

Ten stores in these locations will carry the products: Austin, Texas; Los Angeles; Miami; New York; Orlando, Florida; Puerto Rico; San Francisco; Seattle; and Tampa, Florida.

The move makes absolute sense, with these methods of transport having exploded in popularity in the last several months.

Best Buy commented: "There’s been incredible innovation in the e-transportation space, and we know more customers are looking for ways to efficiently and sustainably commute".

For those of you looking to get your new purchase delivered, setup and calibrated personally, Geek Squad will take care of that for $100.
