Halle Berry Addresses Cannes Dress Code Change and James Bond Franchise

At this year's Cannes Film Festival, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry had to make a last-minute outfit change due to a newly implemented dress code rule. Berry originally planned to wear a Gurav Gupta dress for the festival's opening ceremony but was forced to switch to a Jacquemus gown after organizers banned voluminous outfits with large trains.

During her appearance at Cannes, Berry also addressed speculation about the future of the James Bond franchise. When asked about the possibility of a female Bond, Berry expressed uncertainty, stating she doesn't know if the next 007 "should be a woman."

Berry, who played NSA agent Jinx opposite Pierce Brosnan's Bond, also dampened hopes for a spinoff centered on her character.
