Halle Berry Reveals Proposal from Van Hunt, Plans to Marry "Soon"

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry has revealed that her boyfriend of five years, musician Van Hunt, has proposed to her, though she hasn't formally accepted yet. The couple disclosed this development during a recent joint interview where Hunt mentioned the proposal and Berry explained her hesitation.

"He has proposed, he has," Berry confirmed during an appearance on "Jenna and Friends." Despite not immediately accepting, Berry expressed certainty about their future together, stating that she plans to marry Hunt "soon" and that he is "the right person" for her.

Berry, who has been married three times previously, acknowledged that her past relationships have influenced her cautious approach to marriage this time around. "I've had three marriages, and they were all significant in their own right," she explained, indicating that while she believes in the relationship with Hunt, she's taking her time with the formal commitment.
