Former TOWIE Star James Argent Arrested and Sentenced for Domestic Violence in Spain

Former "The Only Way Is Essex" (TOWIE) star James Argent has been arrested in Spain's Costa del Sol region following an alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend, Swedish model and beauty queen Nicoline Artursson.

According to reports, Argent was detained by the Spanish Civil Guard on May 5 after allegedly attacking Artursson during their holiday in Spain. Witnesses claim the reality TV personality pushed his girlfriend down stairs during the altercation.

Following his arrest, Argent appeared before a Costa del Sol court where he admitted to domestic violence charges. The court issued a six-month suspended jail sentence and implemented a restraining order, prohibiting Argent from contacting Artursson.

This incident marks a serious legal issue for the 36-year-old television personality, who gained fame through his appearance on the popular British reality show TOWIE.
