Man Charged with Stalking After Crashing Gate at Jennifer Aniston's Home

A man who crashed his vehicle into Jennifer Aniston's Bel-Air home gate has been charged with felony stalking and vandalism, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Jimmy Wayne Carwyle allegedly drove his car through the security gate of the "Friends" star's mansion on May 5 while Aniston was reportedly at home.

Prosecutors claim Carwyle has been harassing Aniston since March 2023 through various messages and emails. The Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Unit is investigating the case after discovering concerning social media posts in which Carwyle allegedly referred to Aniston as his "bride."

"Stalking can be terrifying for victims and can unfortunately escalate to violence," said Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman in a statement emphasizing the seriousness of the charges.

Security personnel detained Carwyle at the scene before police arrived and arrested him. If convicted, he faces potential prison time for the charges stemming from both the gate crash and the alleged pattern of harassment over the past year.

Aniston was reportedly unharmed during the incident at her Los Angeles property.
