Kody Brown Expresses Deep Regrets Over Strained Relationship With Late Son Garrison

Sister Wives star Kody Brown has opened up about his profound regrets following the tragic death of his son, Garrison Brown, who died by suicide at age 25.

In recent episodes of the TLC reality show, Kody reflected on his fractured relationship with Garrison, expressing heartbreak over unresolved issues before his son's passing.

"I didn't get a chance to make things right," Kody lamented during an emotional segment. The reality TV patriarch revealed his desire to have spent more time with his son before the tragedy occurred.

The strained relationship between Kody and Garrison had been documented on the show, with tensions mounting in the years prior to Garrison's death. Janelle Brown, Garrison's mother and Kody's ex-wife, shared insights into their son's struggles with alcohol and mental health in the months leading up to his death.

"Something happened to him in the year before his death," Janelle noted on the show. "It really just got him."

The family's grief has unfolded against the backdrop of significant changes within the Brown family structure. Kody, once a proponent of plural marriage, has stated he no longer wants that lifestyle following his splits from three of his wives - Meri, Christine, and Janelle. Only his relationship with Robyn Brown remains intact.

In the aftermath of Garrison's death, Kody and Janelle made the decision to cremate their son and bury him in Wyoming, as the family continues to process their loss while navigating their complex family dynamics in the public eye.
