Liam Payne's £24.3 Million Estate to be Managed by Ex Cheryl Tweedy for Son Bear

Late One Direction star Liam Payne's financial legacy has been determined after his tragic death in Argentina in October 2023. Court documents reveal the singer died intestate—without a will—leaving behind a substantial estate valued at approximately £24.3 million ($32.2 million).

The UK High Court has appointed Payne's former partner, Cheryl Tweedy, and solicitor Richard Mark Bray as co-administrators of his estate. Under UK intestacy laws, Payne's 8-year-old son Bear is the primary beneficiary, with the fortune expected to be held in trust until he comes of age.

The appointment of Tweedy as administrator aligns with previous statements Payne had made about prioritizing his son's financial future. Despite their separation, Tweedy will now manage his substantial assets on behalf of their child.

Payne's girlfriend at the time of his death, Kate Cassidy, will not receive any portion of the estate under UK inheritance laws. Cassidy had previously stated she "never asked Liam Payne for money" during their relationship.
