Nirmal Kapoor, Matriarch of Kapoor Film Family, Passes Away

Nirmal Kapoor, mother of actors Anil, Boney, and Sanjay Kapoor, and matriarch of the prominent Kapoor film dynasty, passed away on May 2, 2025, at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Following her passing, numerous family members and Bollywood celebrities visited the Kapoor residence to pay their respects. Her grandchildren, including Sonam Kapoor along with husband Anand Ahuja, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, were seen at the family home during this difficult time.

The gathering of support extended beyond immediate family, with industry colleagues and friends including Vedang Raina, Agastya Nanda, Shweta Bachchan, and Farah Khan also visiting to offer condolences. Actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt were spotted at Anil Kapoor's residence following Nirmal Kapoor's passing.
